Sponsored giveaway -- $40 gift certificate to any CSN online store!!

Part of my ponderings about blogging came as a result of being contacted by a representative from CSN asking if I would host a giveaway on my blog.  So after some soul searching, the results of which were yesterday's post, I said yes.  And you, my devoted readers, are the beneficiaries.  The prize is a $40 gift certificate good at any CSN store.  So, if you suddenly have a desire to go camping after reading about our trip, you could get yourself a new dutch oven to cook with.  Or perhaps you don't ever want to go camping after reading about our trip... you could certainly pick something else.  It seems CSN carries just about anything you could want.

Here are the rules:

I will give you three ways to enter.
1)  Leave a comment on this post telling me why you read blogs.
2)  Become a follower on my blog [Disclaimer:  I don't really care that much about followers, I don't really 'follow' anyone myself, but I wanted to give everyone as many chances to enter as possible.]
3)  Mention this giveaway on your own blog and link back to mine.

You will need to leave a separate comment for each of these.  For example you will leave one comment saying why you read blogs, you leave a second comment telling me you became a follower or were already one, and you leave a third comment saying you linked on your blog.  I will leave the comments open through August 10 and will draw and announce the winner on August 11.  Easy huh?  Oh, and leave some contact information so I have a way to contact you if you win!  This is really important because I'm telling you in advance I won't track you down, I'll just draw someone else.  And one last bit of information... this is only open to North American readers since CSN cannot ship internationally at this time, though Canadian readers should know there may be international shipping charges.

I wish everyone could win.  Heck, I wish I could win.  It would make the rice cooker I've been eyeing possibly affordable.

I read blogs that have a common theme and or blogs that have something that interest me.
I like to see what is going on in other parts of the country or world depending upon where others live.

I read blogs because I enjoy a window into other people's lives. I also read some to help me keep up with new books and another to keep up with new kids toys. I also enjoy keeping my own blog so that my family can keep up with my daughter growing up!

I read blogs to have a sense of community in regards to raising a large family. In "real" life, I only know two families with lots of kids but in "cyber" life, I know LOTS of families with LOTS of kids! (And, as recently shown, sometimes my cyber friends become real friends, which is the best part of blogs :-)
I also read blogs to learn more about adoption and E's honesty about adopting TM helped me extraordinarily when we were facing our own struggles with Vu. THANK YOU E! And I hope you can somehow get your rice cooker! A necessity with a large family!

I read blogs because I find it interesting to gain insight into other's daily lives, to explore what adoption means, and to connect with others a little. I love to read about what living in a big family is like. It is helpful to have this author have children older then mine to learn from (calling them young adults instead of teenagers).

I love this blog and find useful tips and other blogs to read by what this author enjoys.

Thanks for writing your blog.

I read blogs to learn things. I especially love conservative "frugal" blogs.

I read blog to find ideas, especially for teaching my children. I also read blogs to keep up with friends and family. And sometimes I read them just because I'm bored.

I read blogs to look in on like-minded folks and keep in touch, get ideas, enjoy their families, see pictures of cute kids and get a little chuckle.

I really love the blogging community - when I'm actively following the Orthodox blogs, it's fun to get to know other people who also read and comment on the same blogs.

Oh, and I really read your blog for the cute pictures of babies.

I read blogs because I am a weird stalker person. Ha!! Not really, I just wanted to see if you read this comment :-). I read to keep up with my out of state friends. I read to learn more from people who have gone ahead of me on this adoption road. I read because I get great ideas. I read for pure escapism (especially those blogs where life seems perfect). And I read yours because I just can't get enough of those baby girls. Oh, and I decided to become a follower of your blog...

I posted a link from my blog to your blog but very few read my blog so I don't think you'll get much traffic from it.

I read blogs because I enjoy seeing how other families work. And because I want to know if anyone else is a crazy as I am. And because I love people, and this gives me an excuse to find out more about them!
