Fiber Monday - not panicking yet
At least I'm trying not to panic. I wive exactly one dinner napkin over the past two days. This is not the speed I need to go if I'm going to have everything hemmed and ready. But this week is a light week, so hopefully I can get a big chunk done.
I did get a little spinning done this afternoon. Not quite as much as I need to, but once again, maybe this week will be productive. I can tell that my brain is ready to move on to new projects. I plan new (and completely different) weaving projects while I'm weaving and today while I was spinning I watched an hour long program on scrap quilting. My need to flit between projects is proving challenging to manage in the midst of a fifteen yard warp.
Here's the yarn I was working on today.
This batt was made from mill ends, so it's impossible to say for sure what the actual fibers are. I do know its wool and probably also a good bit of alpaca with some angora as well. It is very soft and has quite a bit of texture. I'll be curious to see what the final yarn is like once I ply it.
