What's not there...

Take a look at this.

You see some trees, you see our little trailer we take on trips, you see some leaves... The point is kind of what you do not see. Remember that trailer of W.'s that he was going to turn into a tiny house, then it had a leak so got moved off to the side, finally a straight line wind came in June 2021 and flipped the entire thing upside down?  That was where the trailer lived, upside down for over a year. And now it is not there!! Hip Hip Hooray!!

Here is all that is left of it, and that will probably go next week.

And what is behind this near miraculous occurrence? Miraculous because of the people we contacted about removing it who actually would consider it, the smallest price we were quoted was $2000. If I had that much money lying around I'd be buying a larger loom, not paying to have junk taken away. Since we didn't have that money lying around I do not have a larger loom and the trailer sat there like a bug on its back. A bug is more attractive.

And then the father of one of my horse students who comes to hang with horses and learn equine skills suggested a bargain. He thought it would be an interesting project to dismantle it and then he would have the trailer bed, so he offered to trade trailer removal for horse lessons. This is not the type of offer one has to think very long or hard about. It was clearly a win for everyone.

So thank you, thank you, friend for doing the hard work of removing the trailer. It is immensely appreciated!!
