Beginning the March birthday celebrations
We have several. Tonight we celebrated A's birthday.
I finally put away lunar new year decorations and it seemed as though some spring was needed.
This is A. trying to blow out her birthday candles. What you cannot see is Olive under there making things a little tricky.
My children have decided that it's necessary to try to take bad pictures of each other when we are all together. D. was sitting across from B. which gave him (D.) many great opportunities.

Everyone was able to be here tonight except P., who joined us briefly by phone. W. and MC were both here, taking a break from endless unpacking. MC even got his own napkin ring, which pretty much makes him an official member of the family. (We use cloth napkins, but I do not wash them after every meal. Instead, each person has their own napkin ring where they keep their napkin between meals. It also shows everyone where their place is at the table. I completely stole this idea from J.'s aunt and it works very well. I need to find some new napkin rings, though, because our are looking more than a little tired.)
Next week is W.'s birthday, followed by K.'s at the end of the month.
