Reading to the cat

Sometimes you just need to read to the cat. Doesn't Nefertiti look as though she is paying attention to the story? Both L. (this is L., by the way) and G. are so close to actually reading. Right now, they can sound out a lot of words, but some still throw them. Christmas break... school... Christmas break... school... It's just so hard to figure out where one stops and the other starts. This also goes a long way to explain the number of animals on the Christmas list that won't happen. Each child really feels as though each of them should have their own individual fuzzy, cuddly animal.

I have another new article published. Not that I'm being pushy or anything, but my pay check increases with each click and share.
