Unfortunately, I just cannot enjoy it, although I can tolderate it in soups or stews (such as my mother's gumbo.). <br /><br />I do have an very good marinated mushroom recipe - it makes excellent mushrooms for eating with steak or roast. (Basically you blanch 1 pound mushrooms in water with a bit of lemon juice (2 qts water to 1/4 cup lemon juice), and then you saute some yellow onion in some butter, stir in 1/2 cup of red wine, 1 tsp of vegetable or beef boulion granules, and then add the mushrooms (drained from having been blanched) and stir for a few minutes, then put in the fridge overnight so the mushrooms soak up all the flavors.
