Some of *my* kids have delays,...Thank you for this. Some of *my* kids have delays, some just seem slower because their bodies don't obey their minds very well and some have a diagnosis that says "brain" in it that doesn't at all describe the loving, funny, and loveable child in front of me. These children wait when they should have families, and some of them I am afraid will never have a family because of labels and expectations that have nothing to do with loving a child.
