Why 7 are easier than 2 or 3
Really, it's true. Although when I tell mothers of 2 or 3 that, they do have a habit of looking at me as though I've grown another head or two. But with 7, I can pay the bills (which really needed doing) while some of the middles can keep an eye on the littles, and the two oldest can make dinner. Even when the oldest needs to leave to go take care of a friend's pets, the third oldest can step in and fix the side dish. As dinner comes nearer, the littles get into the act by setting the table, carrying milk, etc. And so, at 6pm, when dinner is done, I can leisurely rise from my desk, with the bills all paid, pour a glass of wine, and join the family at the table. Ahhh...the luxury of having many children.

Here here!It's nice having helpers.
Love it!! Sounds wonderful (don't tell DH I said that, LOL). I think he's set my limit to 3 LOL :)
Liz, I've been saying this for years! Somehow it doesn't do much to convince those two and three-ers to have anymore though! lol
Oh and the car trips....oh my gosh how much easier the car trips get!!!!!!!!!
I don't know...the older they get the less helpful they can be sometimes! LOL I am just starting to see my children have their own lives. It sorta bums me out but then again, it is so cool to see them become their own persons.
I really think my youngest may be craving this, it's only him and his brither and brother has always beenmy "helper" with him. Lately I think he wants to be allowed some of that responsibility. I hope Hubby buys that as a reaon we need to adopt just as many as God will bless us with :)
I agree.I always tell people when they ask me how in the world I manage.Every thing gets better with practice.
